My 7th Grade Scholar

Zekers was invited to participate the the 7th grade awards ceremony. About 1/3 of the 7th grade was invited.
Yay for him!

Wanna know something great about Zeke? He earned straight As throughout 6th and 7th grades, which is in itself great, but there's more. Once I was praising him for his straight A report card and asked if we should reward him. "Why wouldn't I get straight As?" he asked matter of factly. He wasn't bragging, just stating the obvious.

Zekers was called up several times to receive an award in several areas.
 Diligently reading this award.
Totally not happy that I'm taking his picture.
There's a smile (it probably wasn't meant for me).
Duke Talent Identification Program, Advanced Theatre, Presidential Youth Fitness Program, ELA, and Academic Excellence awards.

Big smiles with these good friends.
His favorite teachers--Ms. Coble, Mrs. Baker, and Miss Checka.
 Best friends since babies.
Isaac, Jonah, Zeke, Sophie, Ethan, Grant, Rebecca and Marco. Not only are they a bunch of smarties, but a bunch of good friends.
Zeke continually makes me proud how he applies himself and tries his best.
And that's a wrap for 7th grade at
the Applied Learning Academy!
