*Exciting* Bird's Eye View - Gimhae Gaya Theme Park

Air bikes were calling my name, and when adventure calls, you grab a bunch of friends and you answer that call.
These two, Oguiya and Geumiya, are the park mascots.
Matthew, Susie, Maya, Ryleigh, Zeke, Sandy, Eli, Jeff, Jaxon, Daisy, Trish, Julie, and Alex was hiding somewhere
We were greeted by Gaya Ki-ma as we entered. This water-type Toga of Kima was excavated in Deoksan. It is dated back to the 5th century Yu, when Gaya culture was most developed. The horse and rider are heavily armored for the battlefield. Iron armor and spears have been escavated that resemble the statue.
This statue represents The Legend of the Golden Eggs, which I will detail in a bit.
Trouble is entering the park right there.
Upon entry we headed straight to the 'Exciting Tower' ropes course. It was 15m high and 72 courses of fun!
Eli got down before the rest of us, so I yelled down at him to get my phone and take some pictures. I should have been a bit more specific. When I was finished I found not one picture of us on the ropes course, but 21 pictures of this kitty. When I asked him about taking pictures he said he thought I meant the cat.
Picture perfect.
And the piéce de rèsistance, the 'Exciting Cycle'!
The Daiser was a little nervous.
But she faced her fears like a champ.
The cycle was 500m long and 22m high.
Zekers and I loved it! I kept singing the Wizard of Oz song in my head where the witch is riding her bicycle in the tornado...'I'll get you my pretty. And your little dog, too!'
Mrs. Sandy is one of everybody's favorite teachers.
There are several buildings set up like the old Gaya Royal Palace. This building is Taegeukjeon.

Kim is one of the most common family names in Korea. Gimhae is home to one of the largest Kim clans. This particular clan is the largest Kim clan in the country.

The origin of this Kim clan leads back many centuries. Legend says that a voice from heaven said he would come down and establish a kingdom. A red rope came down from heaven along with six golden eggs wrapped in red cloth. King Kim Suro was one of six princes that were hatched from those golden eggs. Suro, which means appeared first, was the first born and led the brothers in setting up the six states of Gaya in AD 42.
King Kim Suro with his bride Heo Hwang-ok. When the king was just six years old a princess from the Ayuta Kingdom in India arrived by boat, claiming her father had a dream she was to marry a Korean king sent by god. The queen was a cougar before her time--she was ten years his senior. They eventually had 10 children and created a powerful dynasty. They were claimed to love their subjects like their children.
Princess Daisy from Fort Worth.
Much like the Queen of Gaya, Princess Daisy's followers adore her as well.
When Princess Heo sailed from India to Korea, it is said that she had the help of the Pasa stone pagoda to appease the high seas during her voyage. The redish stone from India was placed in the gumkwon castle some 400 years later.
"The Hope Turtle has thick shell and innocent eyes. The thickness of the shell shows how old the hope turtle is. Unlike normal turtle, the Hope Turtle has big ears to response to peoples wish. The hope turtle is the gold turtle that delivers peoples wish to the god."
Alright. Less talk, more flowers.
While we pretended to be the wicked witch on our sky bikes, Lijee and his buddies played in the park.
That's a wrap to another fun summer day filled with new experiences.
