Welcome To The Team, Flash!

DanFam5.2 has officially grown to 5.2.a!

Zeke had been wanting a fish. Not sure if Gramma knew that or not, but she gave him a 'self-sustaining' Aqua Farm fish tank for his birthday.  It took us a while but we finally got it going today.

"I can't believe this is actually happening," Zeke whispered with disbelief as we were looking up and down the aisle for tank decor. By the time we had checked out and were pulling out of the parking lot he had already decided the newest member of Team Daniels would be called
Flash Colors Daniels. Flash is a male Dumbo Beta.

Zeke thoughtfully added the decoration with a few pretty blue marbly rocks underneath it.

Zeke had created some coral reef at school which has come in quite handy. I think Flash likes it.

We planted some seeds in the top. In theory the tank will be self-cleaning once the plants take root. We shall see in due time. I haven't decided yet to thank my mom or curse her…
