Parking Sunrise to Sunset

The beginning of the end...
When I dropped Daisy off at pre-k 13 years ago, I was doing a good job of holding my $hit together. Until I was buckling Lijee into his car seat and he looked over at the empty car seat that had always held Daisy, and he asked, "Dai-dee?" Through the flood of tears I told him, "This is the beginning of the end." And here it is.  The end of school.
Daisy enjoyed Senior Sunrise with her friends.
This is the senior board. Daisy campaigned for president and successfully earned the position. The other officers are Chela, Vianette, Taylor, Vivian, DeJuan and Alex.
Ana, Hailey, Daisy and Marley have been a good group of friends.
Sutton and Lopez, on the ends, are softball coaches to Daisy, Addi and Vivian.
Sam cheered with Daisy their sophomore year and they play softball together. Sam has been to our house many times.
Navarro is Daisy's soccer coach.
Alex and Daisy are like siblings--most of the time they're like best friends but sometimes they fight like cats and dogs.
Sam, Viv, Sofia, Daisy and Leslie all play softball.
Viv also cheers with Daisy.
This is the group of girls that Daisy first met as a freshman when they played 9th grade volleyball, along with Coach Navarro.
Daisy and Addison have been buddies since freshman year. At first the other kids thought they were sisters, mostly because they are both white girls with long brown hair and glasses.
Moving on from Senior Sunrise, it was time to paint their parking spots.
I had Musikgarten training in the morning, so she already had most of the base painted in her favorite color when I got there.
The Pops even showed up for a bit.
Daise came up with the idea and I helped execute it.

Daisy also has this scripture on her letterman.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Daisy and I also got her car prepped for the first day of school.
Peek-a-boo!
Since it was dark before we were finished, we went back to take pictures the next day in the daylight.
Chuey came with us.
The adventures of senior year have begun!
