Take Me Out To The Ballpark

When you are part of the best small group ever, they help you grow in your spiritual walk by studying scripture, asking you the hard questions that make you really evaluate yourself, and share the good, bad and ugly with each other. They also make you feel really special and loved. The Tapletts graciously hosted a going away party for us in their company suite at the Ballpark. First class all the way.

Tracy, my fellow sister in Christ, mother, wife, and wonderful friend who would give me the shirt off her back who orchestrated our going away party.

This is our small group that we adore. They took us in, poured over scripture and shared their hearts, even though we warned them that we tend to make small groups wither and die after we join. Truth be told, it's probably a good thing that we're taking a 2 year hiatus so they can regroup before we come back. ;)

Almost Bluebonnets

Springtime in Texas means bluebonnet pictures! Except the bluebonnets did not bloom very much as all this spring. Here are some pictures with just a couple bluebonnets in the background.

Bye Bye Spring Break

We brought spring break home with a little Six Flags.

Zeke's 13th Birthday PAAAAAARty

Zekers has a great group of friends.  Even though it was a couple weeks early, we got most of them together at the end of spring break because we couldn't fit it in any other day.

Zeke decided on an escape room. The Pirate Room it was!

Play time was over and we were down for business. We donned our hats once locked in the room and we were ready to crack the code.

With 8 teens, 1 little brother and one mom, it was a little chaotic in the room.

Botanic Photoshoot Overload

I decided a beautiful spring break day was the perfect day for a photo shoot. Here are way too many pics to post but I can't narrow them down any more than this.

 There was a Lantern Festival going on. Bonus.
