The Villian

I love post-Halloween sales! We got both costumes for under $4 total. Zeke's is a ninja. After we got it on he asked, "Do I look villiany?"

"I like Where I Am"

Last night Zeke told me, "I like where I am." I asked him to give me some more details. "When I was a baby and God put me in this world, I'm glad he put me here in this life. I like where I am," he explained. Not only did that fill me with joy that he is happy with his life, but that he knows God is his creator. :)


On a totally separate note, my girly-girl has a bit of tomboy in her. We found an old pair of Zeke's Spiderman tennis shoes in my closet and she wanted to wear them. "These are kinda cool," she admired after they were on. I said yeah, but they're kind of boy. She replied, "But they're kinda cool."

Fight Club

The kids' newest sport: fight club. They gear up and say, "Let's fight!"
(This particular day they played with their new dry erase markers unsupervised. Coloring the face is not a habit nor is it required for Fight Club.)

The American Dream

A home in the suburbs, 2.5 kids, and we are even thinking of getting a dog--we've got it all! Just missing the white picket fence.
My boy and one of his favorite pasttimes: video games.

My girly-girl on a shopping trip with her baby and her purse (of course her cell phone and the baby bottle are in the purse).

And here is the .5 making its presence quite known at negative 4 months, or 24 weeks in medical jargon.

Chivalry Is Not Dead

The kids and I were exploring and we got to the entrance of a tunnel with a lot of junk in it. Zekers was going to go first, but backed up and said ladies and girls first, boys next. Melted his momma's heart...until his next comment. "I said that because I was a little scared to go in there."
