All kids love dipping things in ketchup, but Zeke seems to have an advanced pallet (no, more than likely not a super-taster). For instance, he prefers steak sauce over ketchup. I wasn't so sure about the dijon mustard that he wanted to dip his bratwurst in, but he gave it a try and liked it. I said, "That's right. You're a sssaucy boy, Zeke," to which he replied, "You're a saucy girl, Mom."

Turning Tricks

Abe and Zeke were playing in his room when Zeke took a nose-dive off the bed. In order to distract him from crying Abe said, "That's a fancy trick." Rico Suave cooly replied, "I can do that trick all night."

We found a penny in the mall and I told Zeke he could take it home and put it in his piggy bank or he could throw it into the fountain. He walked up the little bridge and threw it in. Then we found a nickel. I asked which he wanted to do this time, and he said he wanted to keep it to give it to someone who really needs it. Melted my heart. So, if anyone out there really needs 5 cents, you know where to find us.
