Lijee loved his Texas waffles in the hometel. We let him load up the last one with all the goodies they had to offer.
South Korea or bust!
Look at these sweet little faces.
Riding the airport shuttle.
Here we are, in all our glory. We only had one large suitcase each and one carry-on each, plus two really large duffle bags. One duffle was 30 pounds over, and they were going to charge us $600 for the extra weight. We considered buying another suitcase, but the attendants encouraged us to take stuff out of the duffle and disperse it amongst the suitcases. So right there in the airport, we were throwing clothes around from one bag to another, jumping on the scales and then rearranging some more. Finally we did it!
I couldn't not take Daisy's picture with *Daisy Love.
Here we are, Japanese Airlines business class. And clearly we are classy, laying down on the rug in the middle of the airport.
We went to the Admiral's Club first, and they informed us we were eligible to venture in to the Flagship Lounge. We had no idea what that meant but we were down for it!
Here we are, passing time eating from the hot buffet and using our devices.
Finally time to make our way to the gate.
The kids ran through the maze while we were waiting to board.
Here they are, boarding their first airplane (that they remember, at least).
Cheers to business class!
Zekers is taking advantage of the lay flat seats and his complimentary beverage whilst perusing the menu.
Daisy and Lijee's seats were together. Zeke and mine were close, and a nice man let me trade so we could be together.
Would we like a nice hot washcloth? Sure.
Since it was Japanese Airlines, the kids' and my pallets were not sophisticated enough to appreciate the chef's hoity-toity Japanese meal.
Zeke said it looked like the pig heart they dissected in science class.
This is stepping foot on Japanese soil in the Tokyo airport.
My bags and I always get caught going through security airports. Apparently Eli got my suspicious airport genes.
At our layover in Tokyo we were punch drunk on exhaustion. We started laughing about Daisy eating 4 ice creams on the flight (one of the perks of not sitting by your mother who would have made you stop getting ice cream), and her and Eli requesting all the ramen that they had and the flight attendant told her to share with her brother because they ate all the ramen that was left. We could not stop laughing.
Until we passed out.
Somewhere over the sea between Japan and South Korea.
Finally! Our last leg of the trip. On a shuttle from Busan to Sacheon. We arrived at the hotel about 23 hours after we left our hotel.
Watch out, South Korea--the Daniels have arrived!
