We got handed a sweet little school to attend while we are in Korea. When I say little, I mean little. Zekers has 12 kids, Daisy has 11, but it's combined 5th/6th grades, and Lijee has 7 kids in his class. It's easy to get to know most of the kids, though. I think it's great that the middle/high kids don't feel the pressure to be 'mature' and too cool for school. They actually play games like basketball and four square after lunch. The big kids use some foul language, but that's about the worst that they do.
Every year the school hosts a Fall Festival. It is a combination effort of the PTO and the teachers. We got our feet wet at the first big GIFS event, literally. There were many water games because the original date was in September but had to be rescheduled due to Lingling Typoon. The makeup date turned out to be a gorgeous fall day.
There is Zeke with his buddies.
Here Zeke was playing 'frosty fingers.' They had to unscrew as many nuts at they could from long screws that were submerged in ice water.
He little hands were so cold!
Daisy was watching Eli play tug of war. The loser fell into that blow up pool.
He's harnessed up and ready to go.
Eli won a few games, but lost the last one. You can see his backside is wet.
Daisy is hugging our neighbor girl Eve.
When Daisy was playing this game Eve was chanting, "Go Daisy! Go Daisy! Go Daisy!" So sweet.
Eli was playing some type of team game here.
This was limbo, but the Daise was playing with Eve so the teachers let them crawl under the bar.
Lunch break!
Daisy got some ink.
I'm not even sure what was going on here.
Eli and Radin were playing with water guns.
Zeke was playing some sort of soccer ball game.
This is Eve.
This is Eve's little sister Aurora. There is another little sister Lena who is cute as a button, too.
After lunch there were house relays.
The elementary went first and then middle/high. Dokkaebi did not win either race.
However, Daisy won a gift basket! It was an exciting way to end the day.
