Easters and a Milestone

 We had a small egg hunting group this year: Eli, Daisy, Chloe (Missy Saint's girl) and Hadley. Our Zekers had class on Friday when we left so he didn't get to spend Easter (nor his birthday) with us. 😓

Daisy found her special egg from Gramma.

Gramma was helping Eli and Daisy.

She was also helping Crystal and Hadley.

Hadley was proud of his Easter bag.

Zoey wanted to find some eggs too, but we stopped her.

We spent Sunday lunch at Sharon & Wilbur's. There weren't any littles there, so the moms made a big kid egg hunt. I feel the need to say that the moms (Nicole, Sarah, and myself) were much more excited about it than the kids. They started with a few directions, like 'go to the bottom of the steps.'

'Go to a tree.'

'Go to the place where things are supposed to be grown.'

They got a text with a close-up photo.

They had a riddle.

They had to 'ask an aunt.' There were 4 great-aunts to choose from.

There was a code to decipher.

The code gave them a riddle. 'They are made to take you places, but this one goes back and forth.' The eggs were in the tire swing.

These are our seniors this year: Alta, Landon and Daisy.

We had our little Easter the following weekend, when Zekers could join us.

They still humor me and gather eggs.

We also had a mini hunt with glowing eggs outside. Once again, thankfully they go along with me.

Everybody got an Easter basket. 

We also celebrated Zeke's  ㉉th  birthday. 😳 

My very first baby is in his twenties!

We had a family game night with Zeke's new game.

Birthday cookie a la mode with fudge sauce. 😋

To wrap up the birthday/Easter celebrations, we went to lunch with Grannie after church. We had great family time for our Easter and birthday celebrations.
