I have been on the hiking path around 진양호 Jinyangho Lake with JinSaIWA a couple times before, but it's always nice to get out in nature.
Jinyang Lake is a reservoir that covers portions of both Jinju and Sacheon. It is about 29 square kilometers (11 square miles). The construction of a dam in 1970 created the lake.
In the 50s 남인수 Nam In Soo was a popular singer, born in Jinju. This memorial is a tribute to him.
These stairs are called the One Year Wishing Stairs. The sign says, "Believing that climbing the 365 stairs makes one's wish realized."

As you can tell from all the stair pics, we may have rested on the way up a time or two.
After all those breaks, we finally made it to the top!

Just a few more steps after the Wishing Stairs, and we were at the look out point for Jinyangho.

Because this is a man-made lake, there is a little island that used to be a town. There are memorial plots there, and only people who have family plots are allowed to go visit.

Afterwards we ate at a famous cold noodle place. During the hot months, Koreans eat cold soup. I'm not a fan, but look at me being epicuriously adventurous!
