One of the things that I love about being here is that none of the wives can work (no work Visas). That means that we all have time to spend with each other. For example, when I had a check-up in Changwon (an hour away), a few friends joined so we could do lunch together. We went to a cute little artistic part of town that I have previously visited, called 창동예촌 Chang-dong Art Village. It is the place that has bricks with the names of people from all over the world.
We were able to wander the cute little alleys this time.I found a quaint little quilt shop that my Mom would love to visit.

As with many artsy-areas in Korea, Chang-dong Art Village has been part of a city revitalization project since 2012. Masan was the center of art and culture in Changwon during the 50s and 60s. This area has been designed as "the place where people can feel the memories and the nostalgia for Masan."
Surprise, surprise--a Little Prince statue. {Read this with sarcasm. If have seen any of my previous posts, you will see The Little Prince is everywhere in SoKo. Especially in Le Petite France, which is an entire theme park designed around the little guy.}
A couple other friends joined us for a yum-mee Mexican lunch. We don't get Mexican food here very often, let alone good Mexican food. Thankful for good food shared with good friends.
