Covid restictions are easing, so the International Ladies hiking is starting to get back in the saddle. A small group went to 응봉산 Eunbingsan Mountain on Namhae Island.
After some consideration, we decided on an official name for our group.
JinSaIWA /jin-saw-ee-wah/
Jinju/Sacheon International Women's Association
This trail had a lot of big rocks we had to climb over. I decided I like scaling rocks, both with and without ropes, because it makes me feel like a kid. As a grown up, most terrains I walk on are pretty level. Maybe a small incline, maybe steps, but mostly level. When I climb on and over things it makes me feel more like a kid instead of a grown up.

Those islands in the distance are Yeosu, where we vacationed a month ago.
There are 43 named mountains on Namhae. Eungbongsan is the 8th highest at 468m. This one had a ridge similar to Saryongdo. It did not have quite the same view with ocean surrounding it as Saryongdo, but it had the same kind of feel.
Of course we shared some lunch at the top. I mean, that's what we do. Everybody lays out their food and we have a buffet.
Every view on Namhae is gorgeous. This is the base of the trail. That bird is taking in the view, too.
