When we first arrived, the beginning of school was ushered in with the Fall Festival, where all the families gathered on a Saturday filled with games, laughter and food. That has all come to a halt, because, Covid. Instead we have Spirit Week, topped off with House Games.
Monday was pajama day. For some reason I kept forgetting to take pictures before school. Totally not like me at all. Here the kids are walking into school, complete with some kid walking smack dab in front of my boys. Daisy was the only one to turn around when I called to them.
Tuesday was crazy day. The boys were crazily dressed too, but I forgot to take a pic before school and they already had their craziness off by the time I got around to documenting it with a photo after school.
This is Lijee with his classmates on crazy day.
Wednesday brought twin day. Zeke's class and Daisy's class did a black and white theme. Eli's twin bailed on him at the last minute, so we dressed him in black and white and he twinned with his sibs.
Miss Tia even found all three of them in the same place at the same time at school.
Hero day. I think this may have been all the students' most creative day.
Zekers was Lechuga. Last year he and his classmates made a video where he was Lechuga, a secret super hero. Yes, that is lettuce on his head.
Friday was Tiger spirit day. Since it was also house games, everyone wore their house shirts.
In years past, the whole school did house games together and it was sweet the way the older kids nurtured the little guys. Now we have to have elementary and middle/high separate, because, Covid. Here is Lijee with his elemtary house Dokkaebi team.
Dokkaebi finished second this time. Smiles all around!
