Amen

Sunday, March 4th Daisy trusted Jesus to be her savior.  What a glorious blessing!
The next day I asked her, "Who loves you, Daisy?"  I was expecting her to say Mommy.  Her reply was Jesus.  :)

Holes In Her Head

My Pretty Girl just got a little bit prettier.
Daisy decided today was the day to pierce her ears, so we did it.  I was very proud of her; she was incredibly brave with just a few tears.

Later tonight, after studying  herself for a minute in the mirror she remarked,
"I kinda look like a mom."

Lesson Learned

Lesson learned the hard way, that is.  Last night was Zeke's kindergarten program.  He had a short speaking part.  He was one of 7 chosen out of 100+ kindergarteners, so this Momma was a little proud of her boy.  I had the camera ready, turned it on right before his turn, and,, and... nothin.  'Battery exhausted.'  His part took all of about 10 seconds, and the stupid camera would not even work for 10 lousy seconds.  Abe grabbed his cell phone from his pocket, but by the time we got it out, on, and turned to video, it was over.  :(  I have no proof on camera, but Zekers did a fantastic job!  Next time, I will make sure to charge the camera battery before hand.
This was taken afterwards, post-battery charging.
Little Daisy listened to Zekers practice, and she knew it, too.  She froze on camera, though.

That's Wondering

Daisy is at that age where her think-alouds crack me up.  Here are a few of them recently.

In the Swag Wag, I asked if both the boys were sleeping.  Daisy said both their eyes were closed, but she thought maybe Zeke was thinking.  Eli doesn't think and only sleeps, but Zeke might be doing both thinking and sleeping.

At Elijah's one year checkup, both kids were on the table.  The dr. left and said a nurse would be in to give Eli his shots.  It was when I put Elijah on the floor that the wheels started turning.  After a few seconds Daisy thought about the nurse coming in and finding her on the table; she said, "I better get down because I don't want to get a shot!"

When I won the doll we went to Dallas to the American Girl store.  I mentioned taking the train to Dallas a few weeks later.  The Daise quickly informed me, "We could get another doll while we were in Dallas!"  Like that's something you do every time you go to Big D.

It's February, and randomly Daisy still asks, "Why don't the other reindeer let Rudolph play games?  Why was his nose red?" and "How does Frosty the Snowman go?"

And finally, whenever Daisy finds something odd or confusing, she'll say, "That's wondering."
I love that girl.

I've Been Slimed!

Our first batch of slime was a success!
Of course it was too icky for the Pretty Princess, but Zekers loved it.  Notice how she is using a spoon so her hands don't have to get dirty, where as Zeke put it on his head (although I wouldn't recommend it).
Daisy pronounced with absolute disgust, "Eww.  It's gross."  I said, "No it's not."  Zeke chimed in with utter delight, "Yes it is!"
As with everything, Little Man just wanted to eat it.

Stick A Fork In Me

This morning my 12-month old picked up a piece of french toast, stuck it on his fork, and then fed himself.
I say this like he's an eating prodigy.  Who am I kidding?  The boy eats everything he gets his hands on.  He's cute doing it, though.

Ready Set Go!

Baby Eli began walking about a month ago.
He's now into running.
