“Poppies…Poppies” - Agyangdukbang

Am I the only one who can’t say “Poppies...” without saying it like the Wicked Witch of the West?
A bunch of us piled in the van
and went to a poppy field that was as big as the one in the Wizard of Oz.
There were a few other flowers on the edges of the field that weren't poppies, like these corn flowers.
And this type of daisy.
There were some upcycled old kimchee pots.
But it was mostly poppies.
I love the bright yellow and orange shade of these.
When we first arrived there was live music.
Dorothy, the Cowardly Lion and Toto fell asleep in the poppy field of The Wizard of Oz. Morphine, heroin, and codeine are derived from opium, which comes from the milky latex in the unripe seed capsules. Maybe that's why they chose poppies for the movie?
However, the opium from poppies also produces nonnarcotic seeds which are used for seasoning, oil, and baked goods.
The mixture of the reds, pinks, whites, and red and pink and white combos together was beautiful.
There are over 120 types of poppies. Although the colors are varied, I think these are either just one or two varieties.
A photographer was taking photos of this lady. They saw our group and asked us to be in the picture with them.

These tiny cups we used at lunch looked like shot glasses. I promise, it was only water.
