Carlson's International Arts Fest was kicked off with a program by the 2nd grade. They sang hello in many different languages, along with other multi-cultural songs. The one language they missed was 'on-yong-uh-say-yo.'
Look! One of my children made it to the back row instead of the front row!
Eli's class researched Kenya for the festival. They shared the information with anyone who stopped by their room to listen.
Mrs. Ashley has been a great teacher for Lijee.
Daisy's class did a 'poe-tree' cafe. Daisy researched the writer Zora Neil Hurston. The Daiser was at her bells going away party so she could not join us at the Arts Festival.
Here is Daisy's poem inspired by Langston Hughes.
Daisy's advice: hold close to your dreams.
