This summer we donned our cowboy hats and boots and moseyed on down to where the West began. At least we would have donned our cowboy boots and hats, if we had them. But we did go to the Stockyards with Grannie and her friends Charlotte and Reggie, along with their grandkids and great nephew. First we watched the longhorn cattle drive.
Next we went into the Cowtown Maze. I'm not gonna lie--we were sweating up a storm and not only could we not find all the stations, but we couldn't get out.
We also checked out the Forrest Park Train with our new friends.
There are a lot of great things to do in Cowtown if anyone ever wants to visit! Cowboy boots and hats recommended, but now required.
