Walk the Walk
We're learning what a lie is at our house and how important it is to tell the truth. Usually it goes something like this: "Zeke, where did the cookie go that was on the counter?" "Daisy took it." "Now Zeke, that's a lie because Daisy can't reach up there. Please tell the truth." Or something similar to that scenario. This morning he brought his shoes so I could help him put them on. I said, "I'm not going to lie to you, Zeke; I don't really like these shoes." He retorted, "Don't lie to me, Mom." Touche.
