This was the first year that my big boy spent his birthday not living at home. Lucky for me UNT is only 45 minutes away, so I took Zeke and his roommate out to birthday lunch in Denton. We also went for birthday ice cream.
I brought some gifts.

I also brought some birthday cake--chocolate sauce.
I saved the big gift for when he eventually came home, mostly because it was too heavy to carry.

I miss not having my boy at home. He is such a uniquely wonderful human.
