Zeke’s Pomp And Circumstance

My senior.

I have continually proud to be this little boy's mommy.
Graduation seems so far away when they're little, and all of a sudden you're taking senior pictures.

And in the blink of an eye graduation day is here.
It started with Senior Sunday at church.
Zeke and Isaac were the only graduates this year.
They were presented a bible that the congregation was asked to sign and underline favorite scriptures.
Look who we were lucky enough to have come to celebrate Zeke's accomplishment!
And these special people, too!
TJ, Xavier, Iggy, Zeke and Ella
This was posted on Hill's insta.
Here he comes.

The top ten had the honor of wearing white caps. Zekers was number 6 out of 212.
You can see his UNT cap at the front. These kids were standing for recognition of receiving their Associate Degree.
Zeke is pretty darn smart. But I recognize that he applied himself and worked very hard, especially these last two years. Check out his accomplishments:
There he goes, walking across the stage.
And there he is, on the Jumbotron, diploma in hand.
This was when they were announcing the graduation class of 2024.
This is the moment they all turned their tassels.
I did a good job of holding it together. Until this moment. The band started playing the fight song as they were walking out. Band was so instrumental in getting Zeke involved, and he was walking out of his last high school activity, and I got choked up.

That's the look of accomplishment.
The graduates went outside and we had to go locate them. Zeke was spotted amongst his friends by us.
Then we were spotted by Zeke.
So proud of this boy.

Go Mean Green!
The sky opened up and dropped some heavy rain and hail on the way home. We were even out of electricity for a few minutes. But the storm passed, electricity was restored and we had a celebration party.

Zeke loves his quilt from Gramma.
Zeke was reading through his book Oh! The Places You'll Go that I had nearly every teacher sign from pre-k through senior year.
We officially have a high school graduate.
Zekers is on track for success!
