Full Circle - Sacheon Cable Car and Aramaru Zoo

We started our time in Sacheon with the cable cars, so I thought we would come full circle and finish our time in Sacheon with the cable cars.
Back in 2018, when it first opened, this was the country's longest cable car at 2.43km (1.5 miles). It was the first to combine views of both the mountains and the ocean.
The cable runs parallel to the 창선 삼천포 Changseon-Samcheonpo Bridge.
This is actually a series of 5 small bridges connecting Samcheonpo and Namildae. You can see the first two with that tiny little island in between.
The next small island is home to the newly built zoo.
The Aramaru Zoo was not here when we first arrived in Korea.

These little fennel foxes remind me of Chuey with their big ears and their little legs.
It was feeding time for the white fox.
Eli’s favorite—the penguins.
Yes, there are dogs at the zoo.
An aquarium sits at the bottom of the zoo, but we were out of time so we didn’t go inside.
This is the view looking at the mainland. The cable car goes right past where you originally board takes you up the mountain.
There’s a fantastic view at the top.
A few weeks ago I hiked across those peaks with SacaCHUEYa and Alyxis.
Sacheon, I will miss these views.
