Don't Make Me Pull This Car Over - Hwangmaesan

"Don't make me pull this car over!"
We did though. We did pull over.
On our way to see flowers, we saw these flowers. We had to stop.
I'm pretty sure this peony field was planted just for pictures. There were several other people there, plus a man selling chestnuts.
I didn't know there were so many types of peonies! There are at least 33 known varieites.
Chris, Trish, Kate and Lulu
Peonies are known to represent wealth, honor, love and romance.
After our quick pitstop we made it to Hwangmaesan.
They have planted even more azaleas on more mountainside since we visited last year.
Hwangmaesan is different from most Korean mountains in that there is this open prairie area up top.
We had to pull the car over a second time on the way home as we drove past this mural village.
The village is tiny, but the majority of walls have murals painted.
The children are in school in this picture.
This mural portrays a wedding ceremony.
The final time we stopped was for a cute little pond. We saw flowers and pulled that car right over.
It's not always bad when you make this car pull over.
