Double Thanks

Thanksgiving Thursday was pretty much just a regular day here. There aren't really any turkeys to be found in the stores, so it has become our tradition to make a chicken for Abe to carve.
I put a little bit more effort into dinner than normal and we called it a day.
The International English Church used to host a big Thanksgiving outreach.  It hasn't been done the past two years, because, Covid. Our bible study decided to host for all of the American expats in Sacheon the Sunday after. There is a limit of eight people per private gatherings, so we had six houses hosting. One of the group members has access to an American base, so they were able to get some authentic American Thanksgiving food!
One bible study member made beautiful flower arrangements for each house. Sophia is the most generous person, like most Koreans.
Our house was the teen house.
After dinner we played Apple to Apples with Thanksgiving/fall words.
Cheuy got to play, too! She randomly added cards to the pile. She tied for second place. True story.
We even shot a few turkeys.
We have lots to be thankful for!
