It's A Bird! It's A Plane!

Every year Sacheon hosts a big air show. Korean Aerospace Industries is housed right here in our backyard, which is why Lockheed and the Daniels are in Sacheon. In the past the air show was like a big festival with not only the Black Hawkes performing awe-inspiring aerial stunts, but there were informative displays to "encourage students to pursue aerospace careers, give adults hope and encourage those in the aviation industry to be proud of their job." There were tents and booths and bands and snacks and lots of fun things. But, Covid. The show was cancelled last year.
Korea is beginning a new phase called 'Living With Covid.' Things are slowly starting to show some resemblance of life pre-covid. Therefore there was an abbreviated air show this year. It was a short flight display above the Samcheonpo Bridge. Baby steps to getting back to life before Covid.
Halfway through the show this little group of birds decided to show off, performing nearly the same stunts as the large, mechanical birds in the sky. Everyone in the crowd near us saw it and we all had a good laugh.
We met up with friends at a coffee shop to watch. Daisy and Astrid enjoyed the show a safe distance from us old people.
That's me sitting on those cool painted steps outside of the coffee shop, post show.
