A 'BC' BBQ

'BC,' (before Covid) the expats used to have get-togethers often, but have quit because, Covid. Whilst visiting the Jinyangho Healing Center the previous week,  Gyejayun informed us that businesses do not have the limit of 4 person gatherings. She didn't have to tell us more than once! Just a couple days later we returned with families and friends, just as we had promised.
The Healing Center offers BBQ grills for rent. We just needed to bring the food and the friends. ✅
We grilled and talked and laughed and had a lovely time.
Expat life is really like an extended family. People of all ages, with different interests and different backgrounds, all coming together to enjoy each others' company.
As the afternoon heat and humidity picked up, we moved the party into the green house where there was air conditioning. Games were played and memories were made. Most of the grown ups and all the kids got together to play a few rounds of Catch Phrase. So much fun!
Kate, Victoria, Trish, Lotte, Sandy, Daisy, Martin,
Astrid, David, and Shelley - Eli, Julius and Nic joined, too.
Zeke played some intense games of Jenga with Kate, Roy and Shelley.
The social butterfly of the family held down the hammocks.
