Kicking Them Out The Door For Nine Seven and Four

My Daisy was up 30 minutes early and ready for pictures. No shocker there. You can count on that girl and her time schedule like Big Ben.
Somehow we got the boys ready about 15 minutes early to take first day photos too.

Funk yeah, time for outdoor pictures. (Inside joke. It has to do with the trumpet coming out of the ground.)

Sometimes they really do love each other.

This was as close as I could get to taking a picture in front of school because, Covid.
Missing our Grannie, but keeping our tradition alive. Ice cream treat after the first day.
Another tradition, ‘blank day of blank’ gifts.
Fourth day of fourth grade!
Lijee and I have two books left in the Harry Potter Series. We took a break over the summer because we need to check them out from the school library. We are hitting it again!
"It matters not what someone is born, but what they grow to be." -Albus Dumbledore
Maybe a better quote for Eli is from Harry: I solemnly swear that I am up to no good.
The Korean ministry of education was concerned with a new corona outbreak because, Covid. GIFS sent the kids home for one day so the faculty could figure out how to organize the new schedule to meet requirements. That meant that Daisy and Zekers had to wait a whole extra day for their back to school gifts. Good things come to those who wait.

7th day of 7th grade!
Name brand shoes, not knock-offs!
9th day of 9th grade!
Zeke's water cup is too small for the auto button and ever so slightly overfills, so he got a big Yeti to avoid that.
These two are happy to have our schedule of a long morning walk every day at precisely 8:25 when we drop the kids off at school.
Praying this is a great year and we get to learn in person.
