No Love For The Lotus Nor The Ladies - IL Gangju Lotus Pond

Monday night I told the kids we were going to get up early to meet the International Ladies at a lotus pond.

"It's international ladies, Mom. Do I have to go?" was Zeke's response. As he suspected, he was a little bored. But I enjoyed it! This pond was the first time I joined the ladies group 11 months ago.

It's still early for the lotus flowers, so they are just starting to bloom.
This was when we first started our walk. It is also the only time we saw the boys. They had no patience for the non-stop talking and slow walking.

 There's my Daisy.
The gang.
The kid gang, minus my boys.
They were all the way across the pond already.
Just for 2020, here is a murder hornet we found.
It's hydrangea season and they are blooming everywhere here.
At lunch time we finally caught up with the boys.
 Kid table.
Grown up table.
Look at that cute little guy!

After some kimbap for lunch we headed to the coffee shop for dessert.
Zeke and Eli were on the verge of slowly and painfully succumbing to boredom.
We finally made it back to the car without casualties, but there may have been some grouchy attitudes.
