Cheer Insanity

Oh. My. Word.

The insanity that goes into cheer contest day prep.

The parents had a tutorial before show day. I thought a tutorial was unnecessary. SMH. 

Let's talk about the hair. The night before you put it in a pony. Said pony is 3 fingers from the hairline, on top of the head. 

Before you put in each roller you need to spray the strands with super sticky hair spray. Then cover it to sleep. In the morning spray the fly aways flat. Do not brush the curls.

The eye shadow is not eye shadow. It's glitter. You first apply glue, which looks like lip gloss. Then you apply the blue glitter on top of the glue, but only to the crease.

That dang lipstick is so bright that it totally stains if you get it anywhere you don't want it.

I think we got it all done correctly. 

The excitement was about to begin.
