The music teacher Mrs. Susan took on a hefty project of performing a musical with the 2nd and 3rd graders during the last 2 weeks of school. I volunteered to help, but I missed the first meeting. When you are not there to say no, you get assigned jobs that are very time consuming. I was stuck with pleased as punch to work with the choreography team. It was pretty touch and go right up to the end if they are going to be ready or not, but they nailed it! It was a cute and educational play about the Wright Brothers.
Daisy played the part of a reporter.
Lijee got to watch the dress rehearsal.
There was a bit of time to kill between the dress rehearsal at school and the play in the evening.
Mrs. Susan led a time of quiet meditation.
