Always

We continue to be proud of our Steve. He was honored this weekend for designing and creating an arch for the Olsburg playground. They invited Karla to do the honor of cutting the ribbon at the ceremony.
Not only was our family pleased to be a part of the ceremony, but we are thankful beyond words at their gesture to add Steve's name to the pillars.
We also planted Steve's cross that Dad and Mom created in the pasture. A few family and friends that Steve was exceptionally close to were there to help. It was a beautiful spring day with blue skies and a brisk wind, friends and family; just the type of day Steve enjoyed. Once it was completed we let go balloons, and then enjoyed some apple crisp with apples that had been picked by Mom and Steve from his apple trees last year.
You can see the cross from Mom and Dad's.
We miss you, Steve. There are so many things I would like to say to you.  Just to hear you, or see you,  or hug you. One day we will. Until then we will think of you always.
