Zeke:
On Family Fun Stadium Run day a friend asked how long we were going to run. Zeke just looked at her blankly and answered, "Until they're finished." Duh.
When he was playing a computer game he was thinking out loud. "That's cray-cray. No really. That's hard."
Daisy:
As we were watching the news Abe commented that you have to be careful because you don't know who to trust. Without skipping a beat The Daiser added, "You can trust Jesus!"
"Sister, friend, Mom?" That's the question Daisy asks me several times a day. So we play like I am one of the three, and yes, I sometimes pretend that I'm her mom. Then we decide if the baby has been born yet or if she's getting ready to have it. Are we having a baby shower or visiting her in the hospital? Sometimes she gives me the gifts to give to her that she's going to 'unwrap' at her shower. She always acts very surprised and thankful for my thoughtfulness.
Elijah:
This little pickle has a crazy big vocabulary. However, just as his father, he is a man of few words at a time. Upon walking in on Daddy as he was getting into the shower he pointed at The Pop's nekked buttocks and said, "HA HA!"
At the nursing home he was looking through a photo album. He would point at the people in the pictures, who were all probably in their 80s and 90s, and say, "There's a daddy. There's a mommy."
Finally, we are in the middle of potty training. One day he went big potty and I told him wow, that was a monster turd. So every time he poos he now tells me, "Monster turd."
