Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Today was Elijah's dedication. The ceremony is a way to publicly share that Abe and I have dedicated ourselves to raising Eli in a Christ-centered home. We chose Proverbs 3:5 for his verse. I pray Elijah will trust in The Lord throughout his life, even when our earthly understanding does not grasp God's plans. And as he grows, I pray he will learn to submit to God, who will in turn set Eli's path straight.
