Grow Up!

My children were in a heated discussion about whose turn it was to use the new sippy cup.  Daisy had it first and had all intentions to keep using it.  Zeke thought it was time she  put it in the sink to wash (so he could get a turn).  She disagreed.  Next thing I heard was my almost 5-year-old telling my 2 1/2-year-old, "You need to grow up."
Eli just absorbs it all, taking notes for later.

Bad Guys 101

On the way to church this morning Zeke asked if bad guys ever ask God into their hearts and become good guys.  We discussed that possibility and a few minutes later he asked if bad guys had beds.  I had to ask why he wondered that.  "Well, do they sleep in the morning since they're stealing things at night?"
Here my little M.I.T. (Mother In Training) and I are giving our babies some tummy time.
My Baby Boy smiles a lot now.  :)

Ka-Ching!

This is a new program like Groupon and LivingSocial. The difference with SocialDish is that not only will you get great deals, but it has potential to earn you money, too. Click the logo or click here http://www.socialdish.com/s/KL1KId to check it out. Some guys from my church started it, so I trust it to be legit.  It's starting in the DFW metroplex this month but is going nation-wide next month.

Gettin' Our Spring-on

Zeke The Streak and his sidekick Crazy Daisy strike again!
This is what I immediately saw when I walked outside this morning.  Daisy quickly informed me she and Zeke had to take off their jammies and panties so they could play with the water.  How ya gonna make mud pies without water from the waterhose?
Any bets on how long until this little guy joins in the clothes-less fun?

Follow The Yellow Brick Road

Elijah enjoyed his first trip (of many) to Kansas this weekend! He was a total rock star on the drive. That's saying a lot because we spent a whole bunch of time on the road. He got to meet all kinds of family and even a few friends.

Elijah and Grandpa

Eli and Great Grandma Evelyn

The Daisy and Zekers sledding with Grandpa and Koko.
All that family stuff really tuckers a guy out.
