Ezekiel has been wanting to crawl through some tunnels under the road by our house for probably 2 years now. I said there may be spiders and snakes in there and he would have to go with his father. They even started to once but it was too little for Daddy and Zekers was scared. [archived photo--circa2009]
This week he and Daisy decided to go to 'the inner world' on their own--several times. Seriously, way braver than me. Maybe a matter of ignorance is bliss?
This is Zeke's version of our adventure to God: (See previous post of how Zeke likes to sum up his day in prayer.) "I was brave to go through the tunnel today--even though there could have been venom spiders in there that could have killed me. But, NO! There wasn't any."

President's Day Summed Up
For those of you who are lucky enough to be off on President's Day, let me remind you why. Here is a run-down of part of Zeke's prayer last night: "Thanks for Washington and Lincoln Log Abraham. Washington freed the sleeves. I mean slaves. We learned that in school." OK, so maybe the details are a bit off; tomayto, tomahto.
On a different note, one sunny afternoon Daisy and I decided to let our babies get some fresh air. (I decided and Daisy followed.)
Baby Eli is one month old already! The Daniels Trio at the park. Elijah is never lacking in sibling love.
