I knew my big kids would seem so grown up once the baby came, but I'm not ready for this. Zekers was on his phone and I asked him who he was talking to. "My girlfriend," was the answer. I asked what her name was. He said he forgot and would have to call her back. After a successful phone call he told me her name was ShaNeesa and they had a date tonight. Then he said his other girlfriend was calling. Her name was Daphne. They both wanted to come over tonight. I said I hoped they didn't get into a cat fight. He informed me they didn't have cats, but they both had dogs. Not one to be left out, Daisy said her friends had dogs, too.
A few days later I was feeding Elijah and Zeke held a toy above his head, explaining it was like a light at a dance place; Eli could invite his baby girlfriends and dance with them.

The new and improved Daniels family.
Daisy and Zekers are the BEST big sibs!
Like his Daddy--already a thinker.
Mommy has already fallen for the little guy.

My Dirty Little Secret
Here goes, I'm going to type this out loud: I like being pregnant. I know that's a little weird since I am 35 pounds fatter (yeah, that's not just all baby, either), feeling a little awkward like this baby could fall to the ground at any moment, and going a little whack with hormones. The reason I like it is because I love that God lets me take a part in this miracle going on inside my body. He could create new little people from nothing, like the original Adam. Or we could be oviparous and lay eggs like reptiles and birds and be done with it. But instead I get to grow a little person inside my body. Not that I have anything to with it, really. Abe and I got the ball rolling about 9 months ago, and I have taken care of myself. But I haven't had to do anything; it just happens. Wow. It's one of the few times in life where I actually get to be hands-on with a miracle. So I'm going to say it one more time: I like being pregnant. But shh. That's our little secret, so keep it on the down-low.
**Disclaimer** Sorry I got a little sappy. I'm just days away from giving birth, and did I mention that whole hormone thing?

A Sneak Peak
I'm sure you have all asked yourselves, "What's life like in the Daniels' household?" Here is a sneak peak of our day-to-day happenings. Me: I love you, little girl. Daisy: I wove you, wittle Mommy.
Zeke wrote his first word totally unassisted, complete with a beginning, middle and end sound. All the guys out there should be proud; his first written word was (supposed to be) 'butt' ~ yes, the kind with 2 t's. As Abe admired--or perhaps was stupified by??--my rather large 37 week belly, he saw it in a totally new light: he said it looked like a Snoopy nose.
After all the excitement, we like to end the day with a few good stories.
